The following couple of songs are from Medicine Sunday’s Unseen Rain album.

BILLY

(written by Dylan Styche)

Billy gets drunk on a Saturday
TV flicking in his eyes
Billy says he needs a holiday
Needs to see a blue sky

Billy’s got a half bottle
Can’t move from the floor
Billy’s just the punchline
Of the joke he was before

A hot night in summer
From a half remembered dream
Billy plays the hero
In a self written scene

Looking down at the dirty street
All the people seem the same
Billy dreams of a TV death
And the whole wide world’s to blame

STRANGER IN MY HOUSE

(written by Dylan Styche)

There’s a stranger in my house
And he’s making me see blind
I don’t know his name
He’s wearing my disguise
He’s staring with black eyes

There’s a knocking at my door
And there’s blood upon my floor
There’s a howling wind
It’s calling out my name
Whispering it’s own refrain

My dice has shown snake eyes
Will lightning strike me twice
Will he carry me?
Will I finally leave this place?
Will I only see his face?

There’s a stranger in my house
And he’s talking to me now
I know his name
I’m wearing his disguise
I’m staring with black eyes
